Itinerary Details
Day 1: Welcome to Ulaanbaatar
Our team greets you at the airport. Savor the turbulent history of Mongolia at the National Museum, which features exhibitions of dinosaur findings, history of Mongolia’s dynasties and empires, and socialism and modern era. Enjoy the fascinating folklore performance by Tumen Ekh Ensemble which features the traditional music, songs, dances and contortions which have been developed over centuries in the land of the blue sky. DAY 2-3: Ulaangom Town & Uvs Lake
Transfer to the airport and fly to Ulaangom for about 3 hours. Stay in a ger camp on the edge of Uvs Lake and bird around the lake side. Within these 2 days enjoy eye catching panoramic landscapes that merged views of wide expanding River Delta, the biggest Lake of Mongolia against imposing snow-capped mountains. Have truly unique experiences of birding treks while taking photographs of stunning birds. (Tourist Ger Camp, B-L-D)

DAY 4-5: Altan Els (or Golden Sands)
Get thrilled of an incredibly scenic drive to the massive sand dunes and a jaw dropping Oases. Hike up dunes to catch sunset as you hear the sands singing and see sweeping views of the area. Enjoy camel caravan excursions on the sand for an hour or delve into caragana bushes to look for the localized wild birds. Make friendships with kind local herders while staying overnight under dazzling stars in the middle of unforgettably beautiful Oasis. (Community-based Ger Camp, B-L-D)

Day 6: Khetsuu Khad (or Cliff Shoreline)
Embark on a long but breathtaking drive to a Cliff Shoreline to experience lake beaches and cliffs. Take relaxed walks along shore of spectacular Khyargas Lake from cliffs to beaches. You will stay at a peaceful ger camp overlooking the lake and enjoy swimming as you witness beautiful view of a sunset. (Tourist Ger Camp, B-L-D)

Day 7-8: Turgen Strictly Protected Area
We will enjoy 2 days of moderate hiking while exploring and photographing wildlife and splendid landscapes of the imposing Mongolian Altai Mountains. Challenge yourself trekking along rushing white river in Turgen Mountains. The interesting wildlife includes Argali, Siberian Ibex, Grey Wolf, and Foxes. The exotic bird species in the Mongolian Altai, which are only found above the 3,000 m above sea level will be the highlights of the trip. (Tourist Ger Camp; B-L-D)

Day 9: Terelj National Park
Delve into the picturesque Terelj National Park which is officially named as Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. Enjoy rafting along rushing Tuul River, admiring the spectacular splendor of varied landscapes – taiga, lush valleys, rugged mountains, and the awe-inspiring rivers, listening to the various songs of the local birds.
The national park is characterized by the breathtaking scenery of Siberian boreal forest or taiga as it occupies the most southern end of the taiga. A huge granite rocks that look alike turtle will encounter en route. Enjoy the interesting granite rock boulders that look alike anything from sea turtle to praying monk. Savor 40 m high stainless steel statue of Chinggis Khan on his horseback, holding his golden whip. (Tourist Ger Camp, B-L-D)

Day 10: Hustai National Park
Travel to Hustai (officially Khustain Nuruu National Park) which is a successful reintroduction site for the last wild horse living in the native environment. As a result, there are now over 220 wild horses roaming in the area, where lies the panoramic rolling steppes of Mongolia. . (Tourist Ger Camp; B-L-D)

Day 11: Ulaanbaatar
Transfer to Ulaanbaatar and stay in centrally located hotel. Shopping for world-class cashmeres and souvenir for home. (3-star hotel; B-L-D)
