We keep our group sizes low so you have the freedom to move around and get involved with your surroundings, as well as more personal attention from our local guides. This intimate size ensures that your group will not crowd your experience. You can expect up to 15 travelers on a trip but the average is 5-10. Check tour pages for maximum group sizes.

We always recommend packing as light as possible however the specific requirements for your tour will vary widely depending on where and when you are traveling. Our ‘Full Itinerary’ document includes a suggested packing list and these can be downloaded from each tour page. The checklist is tour specific and based upon the experience of our ground staff.

Requirements for travel visas vary widely depending on your nationality and your destination. Please refer to the Mongolian embassy nearest to your location. If you do require a visa you can arrange them yourself or use the services of a travel agent or visa processing company. Travelers arrive from all over the world to begin our tours and it is not possible to include international airfare in our prices. We would be happy to help you arrange flights. Just ask for an air quote when making your booking.

Trip-specific information on transportation can be found on the tour summaries or itinerary details however in most cases we use professional transportation services. Most of our adventures, use private transportation however, for your request we are able to customize the vehicle with public transportation.

We pass these savings on to you with our low prices. Our value is to bring you the most authentic experience at the possible price. The cost is calculated with the philosophy of a win-win for you and the locals.

Tips are not included in the tour price and tipping is entirely at your discretion. We are able to provide suggestions on tipping amounts for your request.
