Itinerary Details
Day 1: Welcome to Ulaanbaatar
Meet your travel crew and fellow travelers in Ulaanbaatar. Settle in your centrally located hotel and enjoy your free time following your air travel. Opt to indulge in the bittersweet history of Mongolia at the National Museum, which features exhibitions of dinosaur findings, history of Mongolia’s dynasties and empires, and socialism and modern era. If time permits, the option is yours to stroll through the city center. Gather for the reception dinner with your fellow travelers and guides. (3-star hotel, D)
DAY 2: Ulgii City
Fly to Ulgii city, capital of Bayan-Ulgii province. Pay a visit to the local museum to gather information about local history. (Hotel; B-L-D)
DAY 3: Sagsai
Stay with eagle hunters and learn from their way of life. In these 2 days, the host and hostess will show you how to train eagle and tell you how they train their eagles from nestling to the full-grown eagles which catch wolves. (Ger camp; B-L-D)
Day 4: Sagsai
Stay one more day.
Day 5: Ulgii City
Return in the Ulgii city in the evening and enjoy a comfortable stay at the hotel. If time permits, wander around the city center. (Hotel; B-L-D)
Day 6: Ulaanbaatar
Fly back to Ulaanbaatar city and enjoy sightseeing. Savor the Bogd Khan Palace Museum where the last emperor of Mongolia used to spend the winter and now it is a museum. Get the wide-angle views of the Ulaanbaatar city on top of the Zaisan Memorial Hill. (4-star hotel, B-L-D)
Day 7: Fly Home
Transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule. (B)
