Itinerary Details
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar
Meet your travel crew and fellow travelers in Ulaanbaatar. Settle in your centrally located hotel and enjoy your free time following your air travel. Opt to indulge in the bittersweet history of Mongolia at the National Museum, which features exhibitions of dinosaur findings, history of Mongolia’s dynasties and empires, and socialism and modern era. If time permits, the option is yours to stroll through the city center. Gather for the reception dinner with your fellow travelers and guides. (3-star hotel, D)
DAY 2: Murun Town
Fly to Murun town, the capital of Khuvsgul Province. (Local hotel, B-L-D)
DAY 3: Khuvsgul Lake
Set out on a journey to the distinguished natural beauty of the Khuvsgul Lake. Opt to cruise the ‘blue pearl’ lake admiring the sublime scenery. Take a ride to the camp hosted by the special nomadic tribe Tsaatan. Meet the Tsaatan and learn their enduring way of life. Optional horseback riding and bird watching at the lake. (Ger camp, B-L-D)
DAY 4: Khuvsgul Lake

Day 5: Murun Town
Drive back to Murun to stay overnight before taking a local flight to the Ulaanbaatar. En route, visit a complex of Uushgiin Uvur Deer Stones comprised of 20 deer stones with 4 m the highest. Upon arriving in Murun, stroll through the city and take an impression of the life in northern city of Mongolia. Opt to visit a local museum to get in-depth knowledge on history, culture, and archeology of the province. (Local hotel, B-L-D)
Day 6: Ulaanbaatar
The Dinosaur museum features dinosaurs of all shapes, sizes and appetites once roamed the Gobi Desert where their fossilized bones and eggs were first discovered by American explorer Roy Chapman Andrews in the 1920s. Tumen Ekh Ensemble features the traditional music, songs, dances and contortions which have been developed over centuries in the land of the blue sky.
Day 7: Fly Home
Transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule. (B)
