Day 2|Ulgii Town — Gateway to Kazakh Mongolia

Fly to Ulgii, capital of Bayan-Ölgii, and take in the local museum — a good primer on the province you're about to live in.

Sagsai
Day 3|Sagsai — Into the Hunter's Household
Drive 1–2 hrs
Drive to the Sagsai valley and settle in with your eagle-hunting hosts. The first lessons come by doing: handling the birds, hearing how each was taken and trained, riding out for an afternoon flight from the ridge.

Day 4|Sagsai — The Eagle's Day
A full day in the rhythm of the household — morning flights, the care and feeding of the eagles, and the winter stories of hunts for fox and wolf. Evenings mean dombra music and Kazakh hospitality around the stove.

Day 5|Ulgii Town — Return to Town
