Overview
Mongolia's classic circuit. Fly south to the Gobi for Yolyn Am, the singing dunes and the Flaming Cliffs, then arc overland through Ongi Monastery to the Orkhon Valley — waterfall, Karakorum and Erdene Zuu — before Khugnu-Tarna's dunes and the takhi of Hustai carry you home. One loop, most of Mongolia's icons.
Day by day
The great central loop: Gobi canyons and dunes, the old imperial heartland, and the wild horses of Hustai in fourteen days.
