Join this one-of-a-kind itinerary to bring you face to face with Reindeer Herders in the off-beaten northern corner of Mongolia. Travel on horseback following verdant valleys surrounded by incredibly scenic rugged mountains to visit this special tribe Tsaatans (sometimes Dukha). Stay at their summer camp and play game with children and learn their way of life while helping milk and herd reindeers. As a highlight for the trip, you will have a chance to visit charming Khuvsgul Lake.

TAG 1: Willkommen in Ulaanbaatar
Treffen Sie Ihre Reisecrew und andere Reisende in Ulaanbaatar. Machen Sie es sich in Ihrem zentral gelegenen Hotel bequem und genießen Sie Ihre Freizeit nach Ihrer Flugreise. Tauchen Sie ein in die bittersüße Geschichte der Mongolei im Nationalmuseum, das Ausstellungen von Dinosaurierfunden, die Geschichte der Dynastien und Reiche der Mongolei, den Sozialismus und die Neuzeit zeigt. Wenn es die Zeit erlaubt, können Sie durch die Innenstadt schlendern. Treffen Sie sich zum Abendessen mit Ihren Mitreisenden und Reiseleitern. (3-Sterne-Hotel, D)
DAY 2: Murun City
Fly to Murun town, the capital of Khuvsgul Province. Upon arriving in Murun, stroll through the city and take an impression of the life in northern city of Mongolia. Opt to visit a local museum to get in-depth knowledge on history, culture, and archeology of the province. (Local hotel, B-L-D)
DAY 3: Khuvsgul Lake Blue Pearl
Delve into the distinguished natural beauty of the Khuvsgul Lake. Opt to cruise the ‘Blue Pearl’ lake admiring the sublime scenery. Optional horseback riding and bird watching activities at the lake. (Ger camp; B-L-D)
Day 4: Renchinlkhumbe
Take a panoramic drive to the remote village called Renchinlkhumbe where we stay at a local hotel with clean room. (Local hotel, B-L-D)
Day 5-7: Reindeer People
Start early to meet our horse crew and begin our journey on horseback. We spend 2 days at the camp of Reindeer herders playing with children, helping milking and herding reindeers, and learning their way of life. If you are lighter than 70 kg, you may try to ride reindeers. (Tents; B-L-D)
Day 8: Murun
Drive back to Murun to stay overnight before taking a local flight to the Ulaanbaatar. En route, visit a complex of Uushgiin Uvur Deer Stones comprised of 20 deer stones with the highest of 4 m. (Local hotel, B-L-D)
Day 9: Ulaanbaatar
Fly back to Ulaanbaatar and check in your centrally located hotel upon arrival. Then set off to Central Museum of Mongolian Dinosaurs. If you are in the mood for shopping, go for the world-class cashmere and souvenirs for back home. Enjoy the fascinating folklore performance by Tumen Ekh Ensemble. (3-star hotel, B-L-D)
Day 10: Fly Home
Transfer zum Flughafen gemäß Ihrem Flugplan. (B)
