TAG 1: Willkommen in Ulaanbaatar
Treffen Sie Ihre Reisecrew und andere Reisende in Ulaanbaatar. Machen Sie es sich in Ihrem zentral gelegenen Hotel bequem und genießen Sie Ihre Freizeit nach Ihrer Flugreise. Tauchen Sie ein in die bittersüße Geschichte der Mongolei im Nationalmuseum, das Ausstellungen von Dinosaurierfunden, die Geschichte der Dynastien und Reiche der Mongolei, den Sozialismus und die Neuzeit zeigt. DAY 2: Choibalsan
Fly to Choilbalsan city. Visit the city of Choibalsan, capital of Dornod province. Pay a visit to the local museum to gather information about local history. Be ready to the long drive through the vast Menen Steppe for the next days. (Hotel; B-L-D)
DAY 3: Buir Lake
Set about the great journey through immense Menen Steppe or the Mongolian Plateau. Look out for the magnificent Mongolian Gazelles which sometimes form up a mega-herd of more than 100,000 individuals. Enjoy the shallow Buir lake with its sandy beach in the middle of nowhere. The lake is also famous with its unique birdlife being the important stop-over site for the East Asian birds and is registered in the Ramsar. (Ger camp; B-L-D)
Day 4: Khalkh River
En route, hit the great Ikh Burkhant complex which was built to protect Mongolia against the invasion of Manchu Dynasty. Visit different types of memorials built in the memory of soldiers who fought in the battle and glorious victory of Mongolian and Russian joint army. The historical museum in Khalkh Gol sum will give you some interesting information about the battle. (Ger camp; B-L-D)
Day 5: Khalkh River
Bleib noch einen Tag.
Day 6: Choibalsan
Return in the Choibalsan city in the evening and enjoy a comfortable stay at the hotel. If time permits, wander around the city center. (Hotel; B-L-D)
Day 7: Ulaanbaatar
Fly back to Ulaanbaatar city and enjoy sightseeing. Savor the Bogd Khan Palace Museum where the last emperor of Mongolia used to spend the winter and now it is a museum. Get the wide-angle views of the Ulaanbaatar city on top of the Zaisan Memorial Hill. (4-star hotel, B-L-D)
Day 8: Fly Home
Transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule. (B)
